Above is the new German Parliament (Reichstag) in Berlin, Germany. It was constructed in the 19th century and renovated recently. Yet it is very lovely, and artistic now.
This is an example of Dutch Baroque Realist Paintwork. This is how paintwork was in the Dutch Golden Age. For instance Rembrandt, used to paintwork with a dark, 'monochromatic-like' color palette.
